Machinery components must clear defined physical tolerances before dispatch
We do not release catalog parts based on catalog names or generic photographs. Ivan Petrov checks physical parts against OEM tolerances, ISO standards, and metallurgical specifications at our Austin facility before preparing an invoice.
Tolerance benchmarks
Replacement parts fail in service when shaft runout, spline clearances, or bore dimensions drift beyond manufacturer limits. We measure inventory against metric ISO 286 fit classes before dispatching to Texas workshops.
| Component Category | Standard Fit Class | Measurement Range | Depot Tolerance Window | Reject Criterion |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Shaft & Bushing Inserts | ISO 286–2 H7/p6 | 12.00 mm to 65.00 mm | +0.018 mm / -0.000 mm | Radial play > 0.025 mm |
| Drive Splines & Hubs | DIN 5480 Module 1.5–3 | 14-tooth to 28-tooth | Tooth pitch variance < 0.008 mm | Rotational lash > 0.15 deg |
| Flange Bolt Patterns | SAE J617 & ISO 7646 | 4-bolt to 8-bolt circles | Pitch diameter ± 0.12 mm | Misaligned dowel pin bore |
| Rotary Shaft Oil Seals | DIN 3760 Type AS | Shaft 20 mm to 90 mm | Interference fit +0.20 mm | Elastomer lip tear or hardness > 80 Shore A |
| Brake Pad Backing Plates | SAE J661 Friction Standards | Plate thickness 4.5–6.0 mm | Flatness within 0.08 mm | Shim separation under 50 kg shear |
All dimensional checks are completed with vernier calipers and micrometers calibrated against hardened gauge blocks at 20 degrees Celsius.
Metallurgical grades
Cast alloys and hardened carbon steels operate under heavy mechanical shock and vibration. We verify raw material composition and case hardness across our six core catalog groups.
Quenched and tempered to 28–32 HRC core, with induction hardening to 58–62 HRC at a minimum case depth of 1.5 mm. Used on general replacement parts priced from $3.49 to $239.99 each.
High-carbon pearlitic grey iron backing mating surfaces. Semi-metallic compound formulated to withstand continuous 650°F operating temperatures on brake pad sets from $69.99 to $76.99 per axle kit.
High thermal dissipation alloy with dual-sealed bearings and 99.9% electrolytic copper stator windings on our 130-amp alternators priced at $249.99 each.
Polyphenylene sulfide turbine wheels resistant to modern ethanol-blended fuels and heavy diesel contaminants, integrated into 58 PSI fuel delivery pumps at $93.99 each.
Fluorocarbon elastomer compounds with temperature resistance from -20°F to 400°F. Supplied in maintenance consumable packages priced from $9.99 to $22.99 each.
Expanded grid design with high vibration resistance and low water consumption, sealed in polypropylene cases priced from $239.99 to $259.99 each.
Inspection equipment
Testing benches at our 1301 Barton Springs Road warehouse prevent unverified units from reaching job sites. Ivan Petrov inspects electrical resistance, pressure relief, and charging curves before packaging.
Commercial batteries ($239.99–$259.99) sit on test racks at 12.6V minimum before collection. We apply a 500-amp carbon pile load for 15 seconds to ensure terminal voltage remains above 9.6V under cranking simulation.
Alternator output is verified on our bench tester under simulated 80-amp load. Every 130A unit ($249.99) must demonstrate cold turn-on at 1,400 RPM and maintain 14.2V regulated output under full thermal saturation.
Direct-fit fuel pumps ($93.99) undergo flow rate and pressure relief testing using calibration fluid. Units must maintain 58 PSI continuously with less than 2.5 PSI pressure decay after power shutoff.
Bushing diameters and gear tooth profiles are inspected under 10x magnification against engineering overlays, preventing mismatches on parts from $3.49 to $239.99.
